One of the new store which opened in this market is Cornercopia Brixton, a restaurant and grocery store that uses ingredients from the market.

At lunchtime, a chef at the restaurant look busy Cornercopia will usually make a delicious modern food like courgettes fried with watercress, peas and cheese. The price of this lunch dishes ranging from 4.5 Euros (about Rp53 thousand).

Another is the newest addition to Bellantoni's Artisan Pasta and Kitchen which offers delicious Italian dishes and the Federation coffee, a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee.

In this market, on Thursday and Saturday, live performances and other activities have also been organized very well until the market closes at 22:00 pm local time.

When you return to the past, Brixton market which was originally built and developed in the 1920-1930s, intended as a center of African-Caribbean community in London. Although some changes are now emerging, but the cultural influence of native communities are still growing.
